Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga to perform for Oscars
According to Harper's Bazaar, the Academy representative has confirmed the duet between Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. The two will sing "Shallow" on the night of February 24, on the stage of Oscars 2019. "Shallow" received a nomination for the category "Best Original Song" at this year's awards ceremony.

In addition to performance of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, other Oscar nominated songs are also chosen to perform in the event, such as "I'll Fight" (from "RBG"), "The Place Where Lost Things Go" (from "Mary Poppins Returns") and "When a Cowboy Trades His Spurs for Wings" (from "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs").
Last month, Bradley Cooper surprisingly appeared on Lady Gaga's show and they duetted "Shallow" together. Their fans even shared many videos of that special moment on social networks and expressed their eagerness to see the image of "A Star is Born" in the real world.

Recently, the movie starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga have given viewers a lot of emotions. Although this is the 4th remake with the same content, the 2018 version of Cooper and Gaga has overcome the shadow of the previous three works.
The song "Shallow" was included in the soundtrack album of "A Star is Born", released by Interscope Records on October 5, 2018. The album includes 34 pop and country songs. To create such album, Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper collaborated with some talented musicians like Lukas Nelson, DJ White Shadow, Jason Isbell, Mark Ronson, Diane Warren and Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow.
"Shallow" is definitely the best song of the whole album. The song then entered the list of Top 10 most played songs on online music service Itunes. On the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Shallow also "ranked" high. The song was co-written by Lady Gaga herself.
"A Star Is Born" is one of the most prominent works of the Hollywood last year.
"Shallow" is the song that won the "Best Original Song" category at the Golden Globes in early January. So, their fans do have a reason to hope the touching work of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper will be once again honored at Oscar in February. Besides "Best Original Song", Lady Gaga was also nominated in "Best Actress" category of Oscars 2019.
"A Star Is Born" was remade from the classic work of the same name, which was released in 1937. In the film, Cooper played an alcoholic artist helping young singer Ally (Gaga) to reach the aura of the stage. Previously, the first choice for Ally of the filmmakers was Beyoncé.
